Karma Support meta analysis (Patch 26.13)

Karma holds a 48.8% win rate in the Support role on Patch 26.13, 1.2 points below the Support role average of 49.9%. That is the 32nd highest win rate of 36 Support champions tracked at Emerald+ this patch. With a 7.6% pick rate (7th most played in the role) and a 4.8% ban rate, Karma rarely gets banned, so the pick is almost always available in champion select.

Karma Support held steady at C tier through Patch 26.13, with no tier movement since the previous data merge. Stable ratings are a good sign for one-tricks: the play patterns you practice now should keep working next patch. At C tier, Karma is a mains-only pick this patch: expect to out-knowledge opponents rather than out-stat them.

Champion select decides a lot of Karma Support games. The hardest matchups this patch are Senna (46.7% win rate for Karma) and Nautilus (46.7% win rate for Karma): consider banning one or holding your pick until the opponent locks in. On the other side, Lux (50.6%) and Nami (49.4%) are the least punishing matchups for Karma this patch.

Karma Support guide

Karma support is a ranged poke-and-shield mage built around Inner Flame (Q), Focused Resolve (W), and Inspire (E), each empowered by Mantra (R): land Inner Flame (Q) for a delayed cataclysm, root a target with the Focused Resolve (W) tether, or spread a strengthened Inspire (E) shield to nearby allied champions, while Gathering Fire (passive) reduces Mantra's (R) cooldown every time a damaging ability connects.

The build

Rune page: Summon Aery, Manaflow Band, Transcendence, and Gathering Storm (Sorcery), with Revitalize and Font of Life (Resolve). Summoners: Flash and Heal. Skill order opens Inner Flame (Q), then Inspire (E), then Focused Resolve (W), before maxing Inner Flame (Q) first and Inspire (E) second, with Focused Resolve (W) last and Mantra (R) taken whenever it's available. Starter: two Health Potions, into Ionian Boots of Lucidity. Core build: Echoes of Helia, Moonstone Renewer, and Redemption, with Dream Maker, Zaz'Zak's Realmspike, and Mikael's Blessing as later options.

Ability mechanics

Inner Flame (Q) sends out a ball of spirit energy that explodes on hit, and Mantra adds a delayed cataclysm on top for extra damage. Focused Resolve (W) tethers a target, dealing damage and revealing them, then roots and damages them again if the tether holds; Mantra strengthens the link, healing Karma and extending the root duration. Inspire (E) shields an ally and raises their Move Speed, and Mantra's version strengthens that shield and radiates it out to nearby allied champions. Mantra (R) itself is available from level one and needs no skill point.

Matchups

Hardest matchups by win rate: Senna, Nautilus, Seraphine, Thresh, Bard. Best matchups: Lux, Nami, Lulu.
