- Wave management is one of League of Legends fundamentals.
- Understanding this concept allows you to create favorable situations with minimal risk.
- Freezing is basically locking a wave in one place on your side of the lane.
- This allows you to stay safe and forces your enemies to expose themselves to a gank or an outplay.
- Fast pushing is often used to finish the sequence or to make a quick play yourself.
- Time window fast push creates is quite small, thus moving far away from your lane can result in gold and experience loss in the long term.
- Slow pushing is used to build up a big wave of minions and get momentary level advantage.
- A properly built up slow push creates just enough pressure for you to perform otherwise risky or extended plays, such as executing a dive, preparing the objective or finding a good base timer.
