What Is MOBA Trainer? The League of Legends Training App

MOBA Trainer is a training app for League of Legends that teaches decision making (macro): where to go, when to fight and which objective to take. You look at a moment from a real game, pick the play, and see what Challenger players would do and why. The puzzle of the day and the first lesson are free, and the full campaign is part of the Season Pass. It runs on Windows, macOS, iPhone and Android, in the web app and on Discord, in 12 languages.

What you do in MOBA Trainer

Each puzzle shows a moment from a real game: the map, the champions, the waves and the timers. You choose what your champion should do, for example take Baron, push a side wave or look for a fight, and then see the best answer with the reason behind it.

The puzzles are grouped into 51 macro patterns, such as wave management, vision, objective set-ups and teamfighting. The campaign teaches them as lessons, one pattern at a time, and the Pattern Map shows every pattern with a video explanation.

MOBA Trainer trains decisions, not mechanics. It is made for the part of League that decides most games: knowing what to do next.

MOBA Trainer was founded by Vlad "Saviour" Dvoretskiy, a Challenger player on EU West who finished top 3 in Prime League with MOUZ.

The lessons and puzzles are made with a team of pro and Challenger players: Zanzarah (LEC player, EU Masters winner), Peco (Prime League top 2), Toni (Telia Masters winner) and Robo (rank 30 peak on EU West).
